If you’re not “in” to fishes then you can try the parmesan chicken instead. Many of us doesn’t enjoy chicken breast we’d rather have the thigh, drumstick or wing part. Let’s give the breast part a chance to prove to us that it can also give us the same level of enthusiasm when you munch on them. Imagine a chicken breast that’s coated with crispy batter mixed with a very pleasant aromatic flavour of parmesan cheese. A dip on the side will also help enhance the flavour, I personally prefer tartar sauce or just a simple mayonnaise will be great. But let’s not limit it to dip, you can also pair it with pasta or salad and even pizza topping. A mouth-watering recipe that will surely be enjoyed by kids and kids at heart. Get those ingredients ready and let’s start chomping on the champ.
Here’s what you’re going to need.
- 3 lbs. of skinless
- boneless chicken breast
- all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper
- Japanese bread crumbs
- 2 pcs. Whisked egg and ½ cup grated parmesan cheese.
You’re almost close to chomping on the champ, start with mixing the flour, Japanese bread crumbs, salt and pepper then on a bowl crack the eggs and whisk it just be sure that the size of the bowl is enough to dip the chicken breast. Coat the chicken breast with flour mixture then dip it into the egg. You can also do this but it’s up to you, after dipping in the egg coat it again with the flour mixture, it helps adding crispiness, after that it’s ready to fry. It would be best if you heat the oil first before putting in the coated chicken breast for it not to absorb too much oil. It doesn’t matter if it’s deep fried or not as long as you are sure that you cook both sides well and most importantly try not to overcook it so you can enjoy the dish, the flour mixture tends to be a bit rubbery on texture when it’s over cook. So if you see both sides are golden brown, then that’s your clue that it’s ready to be served, share and enjoy!
