- Monday, December 22, 6:30 - 8:00 PM - Join Bill and Diane and other concerned citizens at the beautiful new Cosmopolitan Cabaret Theater, 1000 K Street, in Sacramento for in important discussion on reforming our country's health care delivery system.
President-elect Barack Obama and his nominee for Health and Human Services Secretary, Tom Daschle, are asking for urgent input from the American public about reforming our nation's healthcare delivery system. Forums are being held around the country to elicit ideas. Dr. Bill Durston will be one of the participants in a panel discussion at the December 22 forum in Sacramento, and there will be an opportunity for input from the audience. Other confirmed participants in the panel discussion include Geri Jenkins, President of the California Nurses Association, and Sara Rogers, California Senate Consultant on the Universal Health Care Act. Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi and California Director of Public Health, Mark Horton, have also been invited but are not yet confirmed. Feedback from the forum will be sent directly to the Obama Administration.
